Since losing my left eye via surgery June 29, 2018 I have discovered several life lessons in the process (important with two eyes, and especially, with one eye). These are three that come to mind:
You only have this moment…the past is no longer here and the future has not yet knocked on your door.
Revel in the ‘present’ (a gift) and live in the ‘moment’.
Holding onto control in life is futile. It is an exercise that shrinks your creativity, potential and literally wears you out!
